Mysterious and crystal clear at the same time

Torsten Andersson (1926–2009) is one of the most hidden gems in Swedish art. Well-known and acclaimed by the art world but less known to the general public. Now the museum has the pleasure of showing a number of paintings from Torsten Andersson’s Identity Frieze. Paintings that he himself saved and selected as representative of his groundbreaking work. A number of his works will be on display at Dalsland Art Museum during the period 7 June – 31 August 2025.
